In large skillet brown 1 1/2 lbs of lean ground beef and drain.( onions and bell peppers to taste and optional)
Place ground beef over tater tots. spread 1 can of cream of mushroom soup (undiluted) over beef, and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Place in 250 degree oven for 25 to 30 min, or until cheese is melted, let stand and serve
